Command Supports VisionWalk 2011

Dear Command Friends,

On Sunday, October 30th, our family will participate in our first annual Westchester/Fairfield VisionWalk, a big step in boosting research for retinal degenerative diseases, hosted by the Foundation Fighting Blindness!

We are asking for your help and support in our fund-raising efforts with a donation. Our son, Ryan, was diagnosed with Stargardt's Disease, a congenital form of macular degeneration, which causes him to lose his central vision.  Your 100% tax-deductible gift will make a difference because it will enable the Foundation to continue to perform research and further develop clinical trials in the hopes of finding a cure for Ryan and milllions of others impacted by retinal disease.  It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause - you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. If you would prefer, you can also send your tax-deductible contribution to the address listed below.

If you would like to join our team, "Ry's Guys" and walk with us, we would love to have you along on this day full of hope, inspiration and FUN!  Just let us know and we can help you get started.

The Fund Raiser location is at the Kensico Dam Plaza on the Bronx River Parkway in Valhalla, NY with registration beginning at 9:00 AM and the walk to begin at 10:00 AM.  As per event planners, from pretty much any direction, the best road to take to get to the park is the Bronx River Parkway.  Once you arrive, there will be people and signs directing you where to park, and the event will be visible as soon as you enter the park.  Click here for a link to a map of the location.

With much appreciation,

Mark Basso
