New York, NY May 10, 2011. Command Financial, a leader in providing document lifecycle management solutions, is pleased to announce that its ISO 9001:2000 certified Quality Management System has earned the updated ISO 9001:2008 certification. ISO 9001:2008 is the internationally standard for Quality Management Systems. Organizations achieving certification have demonstrated the ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, have documented product processing, and continually seek improvements to the system.

Beginning in November 2007, as part of its ongoing commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction, Command launched its formal initiative to obtain ISO 9001:2000 certification. Certification was earned in January 2009 for Command’s document lifecycle management activities such as typography, EDGAR, U.S. SEC compliance filings, document repurposing, and the production and dissemination of documents.

Steve Penders, Command’s President and CEO commented: “We are very proud that each and every Command employee pulled together to achieve this certification. There is broad recognition at Command that every person and every activity ultimately impact our products and services. This mindset enabled us to reach our ISO certification as a team. In today’s business climate, our continuous improvement efforts are more important than ever and enable us to meet or exceed our client demands for quality and cost efficiencies.” Remarked Robert Buckholz, Vice President, General Manager: “We are the first financial printer to achieve ISO 9001:2000 for financial printing services and we are well underway to also achieving ISO 27001 for certification with respect to Information Security Management Systems.”
