New York, NY February 9, 2009. Command Financial, a leader in providing document lifecycle management solutions, is pleased to announce it has earned ISO 9001:2000 certification for its Quality Management System. ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized standard for Quality Management Systems that specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization: 1) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements, and 2) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
In November 2007, as part of its ongoing commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction, Command launched its formal initiative to obtain ISO 9001:2000 certification. The initiative encompassed detailed documentation of business processes, as well as the review, audit, and refinement of those processes and policies to ensure that Command has in place a sustainable Quality Management System that supports the highest levels of quality and service. The scope of the registration includes Command’s document lifecycle management activities such as typography, EDGAR, U.S. SEC compliance filings, document repurposing, and the production and dissemination of documents.
Jim Penders, Command’s President and CEO commented: “We are very proud that each and every Command employee pulled together to achieve this certification. There is broad recognition at Command that every person and every activity ultimately impact our products and services. This mindset enabled us to reach our ISO certification as a team.”
Stephen Penders, EVP added: “In today’s business climate, our continuous improvement efforts are more important than ever and enable us to meet or exceed our client demands for quality and cost efficiencies.” Remarked Robert Buckholz, Vice President, General Manager: “We are the first financial printer to achieve ISO 9001:2000 for financial printing services and we are well underway to also achieving ISO 27001 for certification with respect to Information Security Management Systems.”

About ISO—International Organization for Standards
ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 157 countries, on the basis of one member per country, with a Central Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, that coordinates the system.
ISO is a non-governmental organization: its members are not, as is the case in the United Nations system, delegations of national governments. Nevertheless, ISO occupies a special position between the public and private sectors. This is because, on the one hand, many of its member institutes are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government. On the other hand, other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector, having been set up by national partnerships of industry associations.
