Overview

Command offers different web-based portals to meet your data room and deal room needs. Depending on your requirements, you can select our Web.docs or our deal room applications. Web.docs provides a range of secure data room services to manage document content and access. Our deal room provides all of the features of Web.docs plus additional functionality to manage highly complex deals or for transactions. Both applications are high availability systems that are backed by the highest level of Command personalized service.
Web.docs is Command’s secure, online virtual data room that provides workflow and project management tools. This solution helps clients manage many of the complex, collaborative aspects of document creation, review, and approval. Accessed online from virtually anywhere, Web.docs uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology and 128—bit encryption to ensure the highest level of confidentiality. Members of a client working group are provided with their own user-defined permission levels and access rights, along with passwords. Users can then work collaboratively by logging onto Web.docs to accomplish any of the following:
- check documents in or out
- monitor a document’s status and who has "ownership" at any point in time
- post, distribute, or review ancillary documents and comments to members of your working group
- maintain version control, ensuring document integrity
- track workflow and review statuses
- send automatic notifications to members of the working group when various workflow statuses are attained
- manage project-related communications among members of the working group
- review new proofs, revisions, and final documents instantaneously on a 24/7 basis in either PDF or Microsoft Word
- securely send/receive documents to/from Command for composition revisions, EDGAR filing, printing and distribution
Command also offers a secure "virtual deal room" through which you can manage information flow/access, and other important details.This provides a secure data repository and tracking capabilities, as well as user-definable access and permission levels for effective management of your documents and information.
